Michael Chase Corley President/CEO

The Owner & Head Coach of Heritage Muay Thai, a former professional boxer and Muaythai fighter, and the President of the United States Muaythai Federation, has an impressive track record in the world of combat sports. Selected to the USA Muaythai Team for two consecutive years (in 2008 for Korea and 2009 for Thailand), he extended his stay in Thailand after his debut as a professional fighter in 2009, amassing a Muaythai record of 19 Wins, with 13 victories by knockout, and 13 defeats. Michael’s dedication to the sport led him to take on the role of Head Coach for the 2016 USA Team World Championships and Pan American Championships, where he mentored numerous athletes. His coaching expertise has resulted in the training of 7 USA Team athletes, including a 3X IFMA Gold Medal Winner and Current World Champion, as well as an IFMA Pan American Gold Medalist, along with multiple North American Champions in the open class division. Recognizing the potential to increase awareness and recognition of Muaythai, Michael Corley ran for election and currently holds the position of President of the United States Muaythai Federation (USMF). Additionally, he serves as the Vice President of the Confederacion Panamericana de Muaythai and sits on the Board of the International Federation of Muaythai Associates (IFMA).


Marcy Maxwell Vice President

Vice President of USA Muaythai, is a seasoned technology professional in the heart of Silicon Valley. Her life took a transformative turn in the mid-2000s when she discovered muaythai. Embracing various roles within the sport, Marcy discovered her true passion outside the ring by providing unwavering support to elite athletes, representing the United States on the global stage. In 2009, she embarked on her journey by attending her inaugural IFMA World Cup tournament, fostering valuable connections within the international muaythai community. Marcy now serves her second term as Vice President, dedicating her administrative expertise to vital areas such as national teams, safety, policy development, and impactful social projects and initiatives.


Vinny Scotto Chief Operations Officer

The Chief Operating Officer of USA Muaythai, hails from the vibrant borough of Brooklyn, New York. With a deep-rooted passion for Muaythai that spans over two decades, he has made a significant mark in the sport as the owner of Legion Muay Thai. Vinny’s expertise extends beyond the ring, as he was a former co-host of the popular Striking Corner Podcast. In addition to his contributions to the world of combat sports, Vinny also wears the hat of an entrepreneur as the owner of a successful home renovation construction company. With his multifaceted background, Vinny Scotto serves as a pivotal figure in the leadership team of USA Muaythai, enhancing the sport’s growth and development across the nation.


Lonnie Beck Chief Development Officer

The Chief Development Officer for USA Muaythai. He is an academy owner who oversees four schools located outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lonnie’s involvement in Muaythai dates back to 2006. Alongside his business partner and a dedicated team of twenty-five skilled professionals, he manages and expands one of the world’s most efficient martial arts academies. Additionally, Lonnie is the co-founder and operator of the Muay Thai Advisory Group, a distinctive organization dedicated to assisting academy owners in enhancing their business practices and achieving a stress-free life.


Sean Madden Chief Program Officer

The Chief Programming Officer at USA Muaythai, boasts an impressive career spanning more than 15 years in the sport of Muaythai. His journey began as a fighter, with a remarkable track record of 20 fights on both national and international platforms. Since 2017, Sean has been an integral part of USA Muaythai, representing the organization as the Team USA Delegate at the 2018 IFMA World Championships in Cancun, Mexico, and as an Assistant Coach at the 2019 IFMA World Championships in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2022, Sean continued to leave his mark by serving as an Assistant Coach for Team USA and taking on the role of Head Coach for the Refugee Team at the World Games in Birmingham, Alabama. His passion and dedication have earned him the esteemed position of Co-Head Coach for Team USA at the 2023 IFMA World Championships in Bangkok, Thailand. Outside of his commitments to USA Muay Thai, Sean holds the role of Muaythai Program Director at Easton Training Center in Colorado, a multi-location institution with 8 academies spread across the Denver Front Range area.


Philippe Nassif Chief Compliance Officer

He is not only a dedicated Muaythai practitioner but also the Chief Compliance Officer for USA Muaythai, located in Washington, DC. His professional journey has been as diverse as it is impressive, with extensive experience in humanitarian and foreign policy work spanning advocacy, non-profit organizations, and think tanks.

Before joining The Cohen Group, Mr. Nassif served as a Program Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the National Democratic Institute (NDI), where he actively supported civil society, governance programs, and electoral observation missions in the region. He also made a significant impact during his tenure at Amnesty International USA as the US Government Relations Director for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Americas region. Throughout his career, Mr. Nassif has consistently worked on humanitarian and geopolitical challenges, including advocating for ethnic and religious minorities in the Middle East and advancing humanitarian assistance across various regions. His numerous recognitions and affiliations further underscore his dedication to foreign policy and national security.

Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, Mr. Nassif holds a BA in International Relations from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and an MA in International Conflict Resolution from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. His diverse background and contributions to Muaythai and foreign policy make him an influential figure in both worlds.


Joshua “JJ” Ferraro VP of Technical Officials

The Vice President of Technical Officials for USA Muaythai, boasts an impressive career deeply rooted in the world of muaythai. With a strong passion for the sport, he has amassed a remarkable record as both a seasoned muaythai official and an accomplished athlete. Joshua’s commitment to the sport has seen him excel as a muaythai referee and judge, earning the respect of peers and competitors alike. His dedication to officiating and tireless efforts in promoting the sport have significantly contributed to the growth and recognition of muaythai within the United States.

Throughout his career, Joshua Ferraro’s achievements in the muaythai world are undeniable. As a leader in the field of officiating, his expertise and commitment have played a pivotal role in raising the standards of competition and ensuring fair play within the sport. In 2021, Joshua became the first IFMA International Technical Official from the United States. His contributions as the VP of Technical Officials for USA Muaythai have left an indelible mark on the organization and the sport as a whole, solidifying his status as a respected figure in the muaythai community.
